Ten Healthy Habits for Your Brain

As a member of the Hoag Hospital Faith Community Nurses Network in Newport Beach, California, I look forward to attending our monthly meetings. These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy lunch, network with colleagues about our work within our respective faith congregations, and listen to presentations by expert guest speakers.

Today’s speaker was a representative from the Alzheimer’s Association of Orange County, who spoke about Alzheimer’s awareness and practical steps we can take to maintain brain health. She passed out an informative flyer, which I am delighted to share with you here!

I would also add that adopting a Mediterranean diet lifestyle is another excellent, evidence-based way to support cognitive health. If you haven’t already, please check out my recent series of posts exploring the various aspects of this life plan.
